It's the Irish Grand National that takes centre stage on Easter Monday and with a total of nine races shown live on ITV we preview them all.
14:35 PLUMPTON
The Skelton v Mullins battle for the trainers championship is close to completion and as such Willie Mullins will be hoping Westport Cove can go well to keep the yards championship hopes alive. That being said 'Team Skelton' have Asta La Pasta to ensure the title goes their way. Both runners have clear chances but it's Teddy Blue that gets the vote. With a good course record and favourable ground ticks in the right boxes he's an each-way alternative.

With a recent run under their belt Botanical has a fitness edge over some of his rivals and although he's never claimed an all-weather victory should be there or thereabouts.
Of the rest Okeechobee makes plenty of appeal, as does Military Order but with both having close to a year on the sidelines they may need this run.

15:15 FAIRYHOUSE
Farmers Lodge looks to have a clear and obvious chance but with the burden of top-weight might find this a tougher test. Should go close but at the prices it's better to look elsewhere.
Mywayofthinkin disappointed when last seen but now making their handicap debut and with this step up in trip potentially bringing further improvement he's got a chance.
At much bigger odds the Gordon Elliott trained Angostura might be an outsider worth backing. A winner on heavy ground he'll go well on these conditions.

With two wins from three starts the lightly raced Sky Safari makes plenty of appeal. The type to have progressed over the winter and is the obvious choice.
At a bigger price More Than A Feelin may outrun her odds.

The Paul Nolan trained duo of Feet Of A Dancer and Sandor Clegane look set to go well once again and can certainly pick up prize money.
Likely market leader Gala Marceau is looking to atone for falling in the Mares Hurdle at the festival but isn't the most prolific and wouldn't be a comfortable selection for favourite backers.
An each-way chance is taken on Lantry Lady who didn't relish chasing and should appreciate a return to the smaller obstacles and will love today's ground.

Now back down to their last winning mark Metaverse could return to winning ways. With a course and distance victory to his name he'll relish the conditions and with the eye-catching jockey booking of Oisin Murphy is the one to side with.
It's a wide open contest so it's tricky to be overly confident about any but North View looks the biggest threat to the selection.
METAVERSE (E/W)
16:20 FAIRYHOUSE
After filling the runners-up spot in the Ryanair Heart Wood has the form in the book and it'd come as a shock if he wasn't to make the frame again but there's a couple of runners who could potentially upset the apple cart.
Stablemate Journey With Me claimed victory in this race last year and is hoping for a repeat performance.
Saint Sam hasn't finished outside of the top two in all of his starts this season and that level of consistency demands respect.

With a solid course record Dashing Harry looks one to follow, especially at the current odds. With a decent weight and advantageous draw he's a solid each-way option.
The consistent Coup De Force and Hierarchy are ones for any shortlist.

The big race of the day this Easter Monday is the Irish Grand National where all 30 runners have a credible chance.
British raider Haiti Couleurs was a convincing winner at the Cheltenham Festival and looks a serious contender.
Former course winners Sa Majeste and Malina Girl have credible each way claims after both finished third in their respective races at Cheltenham last month and a repeat of those performance should see the pair go close.
At a much bigger price Panda Boy could be overlooked having finished a credible fifth in this race back in 2023. He's been handled with care this season having only raced three times and it looks as if this is might have been the seasonal target.
