Rory Paddock looks across the cards this Friday and finds five horses that can build your betting balance ahead of the weekend. 14:05 AYR
Alan King's Irish Chorus was going mightily well when falling at Doncaster last time out. A repeat of that performance should be enough to win a race of this nature unless debutant Roxanne is better than expected making her first racecourse appearance.

The JP McManus owned Crebilly wasn't miles away when ninth in the Ultima Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival. This is a much easier test and now resides on an attractive handicap mark.
Of the remainder, the consistent Prairie Wolf, Leader In The Park, and Ned Tanner look the biggest dangers.

Irish raider Sage Conseil heads on over to UK soil after a solid performance when filling the runners-up spot at Roscommon. He was miles ahead of the rest in what was a fair enough contest. If he's fit after a 277-day absence, he's the one to beat.
Solent Gateway and Willie Shake Hands might have a fitness edge over the selection, so it wouldn't be a huge shock if they came out on top, but Sage Conseil's form looks a tad stronger.
SAGE CONSEIL (WIN)

Jonjo O'Neill's Montana Golden might not have been at his best, but this longer distance could be the key to his success. If the current betting market support is an indication of his success, then things are pointing to a solid run.
Of course, in a race as competitive as this, a case could be made for the majority of the field but The Wise Traveller and Jack The Savage will be the ones to give the selection the most to think about.

Despite the burden of top-weight, Hold Onto The Line looks above and beyond his four rivals this Friday. A drop in grade and step up in trip since his last effort should both play into the eight-year-old's hands, and he'll be hard to surpass.
If you were on the hunt for one to follow the selection home, then Flash In The Park is the best of the rest.
HOLD ONTO THE LINE (WIN)
