Prior course winner Bowling Buddy has made the frame in all six over hurdles (winning three) and ran well for second over two and a half miles here last time out. Having won over three miles in point-to-points the step up in trip shouldn’t cause issue, although with recent stable form a concern preference is for Shared who won on only prior visit to the course, is once again partnered by in-form jockey Paul O’Brien, has been dropped a further 2lbs to a point where he’s now 7lbs below last winning mark and based on recent runs should be suited by both trip and conditions.

Rockola Vogue chased home the highly regarded Dan Skelton runner Let It Rain when second over course and distance in November and with nothing of that calibre in the field here she should be able to go one better on handicap debut today.

Hard As Nails also chased home an upwardly mobile sort when second to Ascending Lark at Newcastle in January and with that rival going on to win again since she looks the biggest danger despite carrying top-weight.
