Miss Goldfire has run well in second place in her last two races despite being flattered by the proximity to the winner at the business end at Huntingdon last time.

Tuscan Rose was pulled up in that race having been well supported into favouritism. Neil Mulholland’s 7y.o mare was reported by the vet to be in season that day and is still of interest here reopposing with Sam Twiston-Davies taking the ride again and is   expected to improve on previous promising efforts over shorter.

Rock Armour and Susiesparkle reoppose each other over course and distance for a third time with the latter gaining revenge last time in a slowly-run rider-restricted race. Rock Armour hit a flat spot that day before running on again but won well the time before just six days before when It’s A Love Thing set a slightly better pace. Rock Armour is fancied to turn the tables with cheekpieces and David Egan on board today.
