Felton Bellevue handled bad conditions to win well last week and turns out quickly under a 7lb penalty with a 7lb claimer reducing a welter 12 stone 5lb. The 10 y.o is only due to go up 9lb and has many placed efforts to temper too short a price.
A chance is taken in an average race on Whynotnowroy to improve for his recent chase debut like his relatives and he was progressing nicely from a low handicap mark prior to that for Keiran Burke and now the in-form Neil Mulholland stable.

Last time out winners Komedy Kicks and Looking As You Are will be popular despite stepping up in distance. The runner-up has not franked Komedy Kicks’ form from a lesser race last time and despite suggesting she could improve and get further this sprint-bred mare has stamina queries.
The well-bred Gaye Legacy had a good season last year and can progress further this Spring after a promising comeback in a better race on 1st February. She was well backed for a class 2 race abandoned on Monday and had a similar entry on Saturday. Racing here against her own sex this can prove a winning stepping stone to some bigger targets ahead.
