San Pedro will rightly have supporters having won this race in 2023 and was allowed to make all 10 days ago and is re-appearing quickly without a penalty, However the more lightly-raced Weaver’s Answer has more scope for improvement and has run well after a break before. The in-form Tim Vaughan yard does well on the trek to Lingfield and could provide the value here. Tropical Speed should improve for the step up in trip based on Irish form but needs to step up considerably on his UK debut.

Miss Fedora stayed on well last time to win on soft but she does stay further and may need a strong pace to follow up on this drying ground. Angel’s Dream has potential to bounce back to form and is evenly matched with Superstylin with only a neck between them over course and distance in November. Preference is for the latter who didn’t seem to stay 2m4f last time and can provide strong competition to the favourite with Sean Bowen on board again.
