Pundit Matt Polley previews his best two bets to kick off the week this Monday.

17:30 WOLVERHAMPTON

Khutulun is running well currently and has at least won a race, however it remains to be seen if there’s much more to come. 

Fortunas Dream is a handicap debutante, so improvement may be forthcoming, but it’s Ornately, another making her handicap debut, that looks open to most improvement of the field. 

There was more than a hint of ability last time, and if she settles, she could be too good for these.

ORNATELY (WIN)

20:00 WOLVERHAMPTON 

Plenty of sprinters coming into this race in good form, notably, Just Ten High and Southbank.

However a chance is taken with Thismydream. He’s definitely going to be competitive off his current mark, and six furlongs shouldn’t be a problem on this track for this prominent racer. Hopefully he can stick on well enough to grab a place at least at rewarding odds.
