Kieran McHugh takes a look at the best of the action from the UK this Sunday and pinpoints a few runners he likes the look of.4
15:50 FONTWELL
Grove Road was pretty unlucky not to taste victory last time out and he should go well again. Gold Clermont did win at Fontwell en route to the Eider and Midlands National, last year. However, she might be best watched today. Captain Claude has perhaps been a tad unlucky in his last two but he’s well treated on previous form. He’s worth a punt to return to form.
CAPTAIN CLAUDE (WIN)
16:13 SEDGEFIELD
A competitive affair with Brian Ellison’s Freddy Robinson put in a spirited performance, whilst conceding weight, at Musselburgh. He’s a worthy candidate. Klitschko is second time up after wind surgery and is back down two furlongs today. He’s another that could land a knockout blow. However, the preference is for Saligo Bay. He’s got some pretty nice form and receives weight off his two rivals. If today is a going day, he’ll be hard to beat.
