Pundit Rory Paddock turns his attention away from the ITV action this Saturday and gives his best bets from the additional races.
14:30 NAAS
Lovely Hurling was a convincing five length victor of a bumper when last seen. The form of that race has been franked with a handful of rivals going on to claim subsequent success. Although Jump Allen, Autoportrait and Road To Home can throw down a serious challenge we're siding with JP McManus' charge.
LOVELY HURLING (WIN)
15:05 NAAS
He might have the burden of top-weight but Well Dressed produced a dominant display to win at Fairyhouse last time. Although he's having to contend with a huge hike in weight it shouldn't be enough to stop him making it back to back wins in what looks a relatively poor race.
At a price Miss Gherkin could be an option for each-way punters looking for an alternative.
WELL DRESSED (WIN)
16:23 WARWICK
Despite not winning in either of her two starts so far a third in a listed contest at Cheltenham last time out gives Strong Run the best form in the book. Likely to continue on an upward trajectory and looks the one to beat in the 'lucky last'.
Roses All The Way and Rene's Walk look the most obvious challengers.
STRONG RUN (WIN)
16:33 UTTOXETER
Trainer Donald McCain has a solid record here at Uttoxeter and could add to his tally in the form of seven-year-old Deep Strato. He's lightly raced and wasn't miles behind when returning form a near 8 month stint on the sidelines. He should come on for his latest performance and can finish in the money.
Likely favourite Red Cadillac went off the clear favourite last time out and aims to go closer than his third placed performance.
DEEP STRATO (E/W)
18:30 NEWCASTLE
Forest Gunner was mightily poor in his first two turf outings for former trainer John Quinn but showed signs of promise when making his debut for David Simcock. He should improve for that performance and now making his handicap debut can shake off his maiden tag.
Former course and distance winners Gustav Graves and Sugar Baby can give the selection something to think about.
FOREST GUNNER (WIN)
19:15 WOLVERHAMPTON
Brinton did well to overcome a poor start to claim third spot here last time. With a better start he's sure to finish even closer and looks a solid each-way selection.
Quick Away might still have their maiden tag but shouldn't be far away.
BRINTON (E/W)
