BEST OF THE REST (SATURDAY)

Pundit Rory Paddock gives his best bets away from the ITV action this Saturday.

13:55 THURLES

The combination of Mullins and Townend have left the Cheltenham Festival with a hat load of winners and they could cap off the week with further success. Teaming up again with Miss Manzor. The five year old finished fifth in last years Fred Winter and although she hasn't produced the same form over the bigger obstacles looks to have been found a winnable race to claim her first chase success.

MISS MANZOR (WIN)

14:30 THURLES

A tad boring maybe but I'm hoping Mullins and Townend can claim a quick fire double and former course victor High Class Hero looks more than capable of doing so. The eight-year-old ran out an impressive winner last month and looks set to claim back to back victories.

The biggest threat looks to be stablemate Fun Fun Fun who seems the only realistic threat.

HIGH CLASS HERO (WIN)

15:05 THURLES

With a sizable field it wont make this contest easy to figure out but one that could go well at a decent price is Get It Right. He was travelling nicely when unseating his rider here last time out and can be forgiven that result. Prior to that he was woeful at both Galway and Cork but it's safe to say they were both over inadequate trips. Now back up in distance and off a fair mark this 12 race maiden has a strong claim to finish in the money.

17:25 THURLES

When it comes to National Hunt Flat races, especially with horses making their debut, it's safe to say they're hard to be overly confident, albeit we saw an unraced horse claim Friday's novice contest at the Cheltenham Festival. With little to no form to go off we have to use other stats and information to help us pinpoint a victor and the stats seem to favour Joseph O'Brien's Galileo Sand. The horse is beautifully bred by superstar flat sire Galileo and out of a top US mare. What's also very intriguing is the trainer has a 27% strike rate with all of his NHF runners at this course. With the jockey taking an additional 3lbs off the horses back there's plenty in his favour.

Noticeable rival Eagle Of Destiny gets a handy mares allowance and hails from a yard who have a solid record in this sphere. It's likely that the aforementioned duo are set to battle it out at the finish line.

GALILEO SAND (WIN)

18:30 WOLVERHAMPTON

Heavily backed into favourite when last seen but finished dead last at Lingfield. Should do far better now back on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton where he's gone well previously. With the interesting jockey booking of Billy Loughnane also a positive he's got plenty in his favour.

Former course and distance winner Come On John did well to win his last contest and is the obvious market leader. If he's on song he'll be hard to beat but our selection shouldn't be far away.

GREEN TEAM (E/W)

19:15 SOUTHWELL

Former course and distance winner One More Dream won a similar contest here around a year ago. That came off a much higher mark and in a higher grade. With one win and one place from three previous course and distance starts he's got plenty that points towards another solid outting.

Dicko The Legend seems to be returning to form and is capable of putting a spanner in the works and at a larger price Wallop may outrun his odds if on a going day.

ONE MORE DREAM (E/W)

20:30 WOLVERHAMPTON

A string of consecutive seconds has ensured National Health has turned into the proverbial 'bridesmaid' as of late but hopefully this evening he can finally go one better.

Cosmic View finished just half a length ahead of National Health when they met previously but now off more favourable weights the form could be reversed.
